Randy villegas

U.S. House, Ca-22

Randy Villegas is a political science professor, community organizer, and school board trustee from California’s Central Valley. The son of Mexican immigrants, he was raised in a working-class family in Kern County and became the first in his family to earn a PhD. He has served since 2021 as a trustee of the Visalia Unified School District Board of Education, where he worked to expand educational opportunities and support working families across the region. Villegas is running for Congress to make sure the Valley gets a say in Washington’s decision-making abroad. He will push to end the US-Israel war against Iran, restore congressional authority over the use of force, and fight for a trade and foreign assistance posture that works for the farms and families of the 22nd District.
