Patrick Branco

Patrick Branco is a Native Hawaiian, who was the first leader from Hawai‘i selected to be a State Department Rangel Fellow. Through his work as a Foreign Service Officer he gained deep understanding of the power and importance of American diplomacy. Branco served in Colombia, Pakistan, the Office of the Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, the Secretary of State’s Operations Center, and Venezuela. When the opportunity to represent his home district in the Hawai‘i State Legislature presented itself, he ran a successful campaign and has been a leader since on the Water and Land Committee; the Corrections, Military, & Veterans Committee; and the Finance Committee. If elected, Branco would be the only career diplomat serving in Congress.
