Max Rose served in the U.S. Army, where he was awarded a Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his service in Afghanistan, and continues to serve as an Infantry Officer in the New York National Guard. Upon leaving full-time service, Rose served as Director of Public Engagement for a Brooklyn District Attorney and Chief of Staff at Brightpoint Health. In 2018, Rose was elected to Congress and served as Chair of the Intelligence and Counterterrorism Subcommittee on the House Homeland Security Committee. Most recently, Rose served as Senior Advisor to the U.S. Secretary of Defense for COVID-19. In Congress, Rose would be a strong voice for strengthening U.S. national security through robust U.S. global engagement across issues from climate change to democracy and human rights.
