Foreign Policy for America Endorses Mayor Paige Cognetti for PA-08

WASHINGTON D.C. - Foreign Policy for America announced today its endorsement of Paige Cognetti for PA-08.

“Paige Cognetti has shown she can take on entrenched interests, fight corruption, and deliver real results,” said Andrew Albertson, Executive Director of Foreign Policy for America. “From her time shaping international economic policy in the Obama administration to leading Scranton with transparency and integrity, she brings the expertise and judgment needed in this moment. Paige will defend the American values that have made our country strong and prosperous.”

Paige is the current mayor of Scranton and has reformed the office, taking on special interests and battling corruption in City Hall. She previously served in the Obama administration as a senior advisor to the Under Secretary for International Affairs at the U.S. Treasury Department. Her career has been guided by the vision that government should work as hard as the people it serves. Now, she is taking that same vision to Congress.
