Foreign Policy for America Congratulates Governors-Elect Abigail Spanberger and Mikie Sherrill on Historic Victories

Washington, D.C. – Foreign Policy for America (FP4A) congratulates Governors-elect Abigail Spanberger of Virginia and Mikie Sherrill of New Jersey on their decisive victories in Tuesday’s elections.

Both Abigail Spanberger and Mikie Sherrill have dedicated their careers to serving the American people. Spanberger, a former federal law enforcement officer and CIA officer, and Sherrill, a Navy helicopter pilot and federal prosecutor, brought their deep commitment to country and community to Congress. As governors, they will continue to embody the principles of pragmatic leadership and global-minded service that our country urgently needs.
