Foreign Policy for America Endorses JoAnna Mendoza for AZ-06

WASHINGTON D.C. - Foreign Policy for America announced today its endorsement of JoAnna Mendoza for election to the U.S. Congress as the Representative from Arizona’s 6th Congressional District. 

“Jo Mendoza brings exactly the kind of voice we need in Congress – one grounded in service, extraordinary experience, and a deep understanding of the sources of American strength,” said Andrew Albertson, executive director of Foreign Policy for America. “At a time of global upheaval and rising costs for American families, Jo will stand up for veterans, fight to protect Arizona’s natural resources, and help keep our country out of endless wars.”

JoAnna Mendoza answered the call to serve at the age of 17, enlisting in the U.S. Navy before joining the U.S. Marine Corps. Her 20-year military career was defined by leadership, sacrifice, and service, marked by her role as a Marine Corps Drill Instructor, deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, and mentoring the next generation of Marines. Now, Mendoza is running to represent Arizona’s 6th Congressional District, where she is focused on protecting Arizona’s water and natural resources, supporting our veterans, and strengthening America’s diplomatic leadership.
