Jirair Ratevosian

Jirair Ratevosian is a former Senior Advisor for Health Equity Policy and a Senior Advisor to the Office of the United States Global Aids Coordinator at the U.S. Department of State, a position for which he was nominated by President Joe Biden. Previously, Jirair served as Rep. Barbara Lee’s Legislative Director, overseeing the Congresswoman’s foreign policy, budget, appropriations, and health portfolios. The son of Armenian and Lebanese immigrants, Jirair was born in Hollywood and raised in Sunland, California. Jirair began his career working for the Boston Public Health Commission and went on to serve as a national field organizer for the Health Action AIDS Campaign.
