State Senator and Veteran endorsed by nonpartisan Foreign Policy for America

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – October 4, 2022

WASHINGTON D.C. — Foreign Policy for America announced today its endorsement of Jeff Jackson for election. Jeff is state senator, combat veteran, and a 20-year National Guard service member.

“Jeff Jackson has devoted his entire career to serving the American people, both here and overseas,” said Andrew Albertson, Executive Director of Foreign Policy for America. “As a combat veteran, Jeff knows firsthand what it looks like to protect American security, and he also knows the costs and consequences of unnecessary wars. We’re proud to support Jeff because he’s committed to diplomacy-first foreign policy.”

Jeff Jackson enlisted in the Army Reserves after 9/11 and is completing his 20th year of military service. Following his deployment to Afghanistan with Special Operations, Jackson attended law school at UNC-Chapel Hill and then served as the assistant district attorney in Gaston County. In 2014, Jackson ran for the state legislature and was elected as the second-youngest senator in the state senate.
