FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - June 17, 2019

WASHINGTON D.C. - Foreign Policy for America Action Network announced today its endorsement of Representative Jason Crow for re-election. As a member of the House Armed Services Committee and a defender of principled American engagement, Representative Crow is running to represent Colorado for a second term in the U.S. House of Representatives.

“Congressman Crow protected the American people when he served in the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division and 75th Ranger Regiment,” said Andrew Albertson, treasurer of Foreign Policy for America Action Network, “and he continues to show that same commitment today in Congress. Few members of Congress are working harder every day to advance American values and interests around the world, and that’s why we’re so proud to endorse him today.”

"It is an honor to be endorsed by Foreign Policy for America Action Network. Now more than ever, we must commit to the alliances and partnerships that have kept our country safe. As someone who served in Afghanistan and Iraq, I have seen firsthand the value that our alliances bring and their work in keeping our men and women out of harm's way,” said Crow.

Prior to Congress, Crow served three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, achieving the rank of Captain and receiving a Bronze Star. Upon leaving military service, Crow joined the Colorado Board of Veterans’ Affairs to help veterans who suffer from homelessness and substance abuse. As a first term Member of Congress, Crow serves on the House Armed Services Committee where he has led efforts to combat climate change and strengthen military readiness.

Crow is one of Foreign Policy for America Action Network’s first five House endorsements, all announced today, along with Rep. Abigail Spanberger (VA-7), Rep. Andy Kim (NJ-3), Rep. Tom Malinowski (NJ-7), and Rep. Elissa Slotkin (MI-8). The organization previously endorsed two Senate candidates in the 2020 cycle: Senator Jeanne Shaheen, running for re-election in New Hampshire, and former ambassador Dan Baer, running for Senate in Colorado. Foreign Policy for America Action Network also endorsed Crow in his successful run for Congress in 2018.
