Representative val demings

Val Demings began her career as a social worker and after served 27 years in law enforcement. In 2017, she became the first woman in Orlando to be appointed as Chief of Police. In 2016, Demings was elected to the U.S. House, where she is a leader on the Judiciary Committee, Homeland Security Committee, and Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. In the U.S. Senate, Demings will continue the work of keeping Florida families safe.
