Foreign Policy for America Endorses Rep. Chris Pappas (NH-Sen) for Senate

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - January 27, 2026

WASHINGTON D.C. - Foreign Policy for America announced today its endorsement of Representative Chris Pappas for election to the U.S. Senate.

Rep. Chris Pappas is a fighter. He understands that America’s global influence is founded on principled leadership overseas and smart economic policies that deliver jobs and affordability here at home,” said Andrew Albertson, Executive Director of Foreign Policy for America. “That's why he is challenging the administration’s blanket tariffs, rejecting endless wars, and strengthening our national security by reinforcing our alliances.”

“At a time when democracy and global security are being tested, American leadership and strong alliances are indispensable,” said Congressman Chris Pappas. “That’s why I’m proud to have the support of Foreign Policy for America, an organization committed to strengthening international partnerships and advancing principled U.S. engagement around the world. In Congress, I’ve worked to support multilateral cooperation and promote stability abroad. In the Senate, I’ll keep working to ensure the United States remains a leader in defending democratic values, upholding human rights, and addressing global challenges responsibly.”

Rep. Pappas has represented New Hampshire’s First Congressional District since 2019. In Congress, he has championed renewable energy investments, taken on predatory companies that target veterans and pollute our water, and stood up to Big Pharma to lower prescription drug costs. A small business owner, proud graduate of public schools, and lifelong Manchester resident, Rep. Pappas understands the value of service, investing in people, and the challenges facing New Hampshire families. He is now running for the U.S. Senate to bring a pragmatic, results-driven approach to strengthening American leadership.

Rep. Pappas joins other FP4A endorsed candidates: Rep. Chris Deluzio (PA-17), JoAnna Mendoza (AZ-06), Tom Malinowski (NJ-11), Christina Bohannan (IA-01), Bridget Brink (MI-07), and Eric Chung (MI-10). Our endorsed candidates are chosen because of their consistent leadership in favor of a diplomacy-first foreign policy.

Foreign Policy for America is a nonpartisan advocacy organization working to strengthen support for principled American engagement in the world. We support policies that keep Americans safe and out of conflicts, advance prosperity for all, and are true to our country’s highest values.
