Foreign Policy for America Endorses Bayly Winder for NJ-02
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – February 19, 2026
WASHINGTON D.C. - Foreign Policy for America announced today its endorsement of Bayly Winder for NJ-02.
“Bayly Winder has served on the front lines of American diplomacy and development, advancing our toolkit and strengthening our alliances around the world,” said Andrew Albertson, Executive Director of Foreign Policy for America. “At a moment when this administration is threatening our allies, we need a national security leader like Bayly who understands the stakes and leads with diplomacy. That’s why we’re proud to support him.”
“Now more than ever, Congress must recommit to principled U.S. leadership and turn away from a reckless and corrupt foreign policy that has eroded trust in our democracy and our role in the world,” said Winder. “My years working in national security and diplomacy showed me how much steady American engagement matters, and I’m honored to receive Foreign Policy for America’s endorsement at a moment when the stakes couldn’t be higher.”
Bayly Winder is a national security professional dedicated to strengthening American leadership abroad and delivering principled leadership at home. He has served at the U.S. Department of State, where he worked on Iran policy, and at USAID as an advisor in the office of Administrator Samantha Power, advancing programs that promote global stability, economic growth, and democratic governance. Beyond government service, Bayly has advised on national security and cybersecurity challenges, helping institutions respond to emerging threats in a rapidly evolving global landscape, and he is a member of FP4A’s inaugural NextGen Fellow cohort.
Now running for Congress, Bayly has built his campaign around direct engagement and accountability, hosting well-attended town halls across every corner of the district and transforming what was once an overlooked seat into a competitive race firmly on the political map. He has also built a broad coalition of local support, securing key endorsements from respected community leaders, and is working to strengthen our democracy and fight for New Jerseyans with integrity and results-driven leadership.
Bayly joins other FP4A endorsed candidates: JoAnna Mendoza (AZ-06), Christina Bohannan (IA-01), Bridget Brink (MI-07), Eric Chung (MI-10), Rep. Chris Deluzio (PA-17), and Rep. Chris Pappas (NH-Sen). Our endorsed candidates are chosen because of their consistent leadership in favor of a diplomacy-first foreign policy.
Foreign Policy for America is a nonpartisan advocacy organization working to strengthen support for principled American engagement in the world. We support policies that keep Americans safe and out of conflicts, advance prosperity for all, and are true to our country’s highest values.
